Call for Abstracts - Banff Pork Seminar 2025
Abstracts are invited for poster display at the 2025 Banff Pork Seminar to be held January 7-9, 2025. Submissions can be made either by researchers (University, government or industry) or by undergraduate or graduate students under their supervision.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the 2025 BPS proceedings and posters will be displayed during the conference.
Abstracts will be reviewed for scientific content and acceptability. Abstracts may be edited for length, grammar, format and presentation style. If editing is significant, the abstract will be returned to the author for approval.
The deadline for submission is October 31, 2024. Please email abstracts to the Banff Pork Seminar Conference Coordinator at pork@ualberta.ca with “Abstract for Poster Session” and the applicant’s name in the subject line.
Please remember this is an industry event, not an academic conference. Please adjust your wording and presentation to suit a mixed audience (producers, feed industry, veterinary and pharmaceutical industry, breeding and genetics, extension, researchers, etc).
